Inspection missed appliance after closing?

Does your purchase contract say that the appliances are included? None of those are fixtures, and if they aren't listed in the contract as staying with the property, they belong to the seller and he is free to take them with him. In my case, I've sold a property with the refrigerator, but took the washer and dryer, since I knew that I could use those where I was going but wasn't sure about the size of fridge that would fit in my new place. So you may be looking at shelling out for new appliances. Sorry!
