Newborn clothes questions?

You're going to need many onesies. I'd get at least 6. Babies spit up, have explosive poops that leak up their backs, drool, & are practically little dirt magnets when they get mobile. As for sleepers, you can try them, but I never liked them. Feeted pajamas are good though. They keep her warm & let her move her legs when she becomes more active. You could buy newborn dresses, especially if you plan on having professional photos taken, but while she's still very small, you'll probably be at home a lot where they won't be necessary. Remember she's not a doll; my son hated having his clothes changed, even when he was soaked from spit up. As for mittens, I hate them & they're not recommended because they hinder baby's ability to feel textures & learn. They don't stay on well & if you just trim her nails, they're unnecessary.
