I usually hate soccer, but have been watching the english premier league games and there seems to be so much?

more offense and scoring chances. I tried watching mls and even european games between teams like barcelona playing but those suck too. Is the field smaller in english prem. games? it literally seems like a diff. game and i have tried to understand why.
